On behalf of Staveley & Copgrove Village Hall, we would like to welcome entrants and supporters to the annual Staveley Stampede , a meandering 10KM run through Staveley Village, Nature Reserve and surrounding area across undulating tracks, bridlepaths and roads.
The start and finish area is located by Staveley Village Hall - allowing a great location for spectators to cheers the runners up the main street and past the village green.
Warm Up - A two kilometre circuit of our Nature Reserve allows runners to warm-up & cool down in safety, away from the roads with plenty of space and outstanding views.. (see Maps for the route.)
10:50am sees a Group Warm up taken by JP of the Yorkshire Warrier who get all the runners warmed up.
Parking - There is parking available in the designated car park or within the Village itself (Please be aware of local residents access) See Maps for further details.
Race HQ - Is situated at the Village Hall for registration, baggage and toilets. I'm afraid there are no shower facilities. All bags are left at the owners own risk.
Spectators - Tea, Coffee and Cakes in the Village Hall along with a BBQ, plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The 10KM is proudly supported by the children's races held on and around the Village Green, from approx. 11.05am
We look forward to seeing you on the start line on Sunday 23rd June.
